Buy Azzedine Alaïa


Tunisia born, Azzedine Alaïa studied sculpture at the Fine Arts school of Tunis. He than entered a dressmaker atelier before moving to Paris. He worked for several houses such as Christian Dior, Guy Laroche and Thierry Mugler. He opened his own craftshop in late 70's. Loved by the international media, his ready-to-wear collections have been launched since 1980. After the death of his twin sister in the 90's he went away from the lights of the fashion world. He keeps creating very luxurious collections for a very private clientèle. The story of the brand is paired with Prada Group since 2000 which actually produce Alaïa shoes.
